I'm not a tutorial person, I hate those things - however plenty of "new artists" enjoy searching for tutorials and learning from them.
Then comes the problem, when people who SUCK at drawing, coloring, linearting, writing, photographing, pixelling, WHATEVER - make a tutorial on how to do it. The newbies will flock to that tutorial, be amazed because they're newbies, and then start creating the same CRAP. Fuck, recently I found a tutorial on how to trace a random image on paint and call it a base >:U. FUCK YOU PEOPLE, YOU SUCK, STOP MAKING TUTORIALS, STOP SPREADING YOUR SUCKY ABILITIES, IT IS A DESEASE FOR THE NEWCOMERS WHO DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER. Think of it this way: If your average score on maths is an F or a D, and you decide to teach other people maths, then THEIR scores are going to be F-D.  Stop spreading mediocrity, do NOT make a tutorial unless you're actually GOOD at what you do. Yes, you're allowed to use this stamp and spread the message any way you want Ü. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
